The Blackburnian Room is a newly-remodeled private room that has a private bathroom. Located in the Crow's Nest building, the Blackburnian Room is found along the trail to the wilderness part of Hog Island, a three-minute walk from the Bridge and Fish House. The Blackburnian has its own private entrance and offers a quiet getaway from the hustle and bustle of camp.
The Blackburnian Room gets its name from the Blackburnian Warbler, a brightly-colored warbler found on Hog Island. This long distant migrants travels from South America to Maine each year to breed - very impressive, indeed!
Blackburnian Room: 2 person occupancy with 2 twin beds, and a private full bath. Call for availability.
